MARK VAN ATTEN


Mark van Atten is Directeur de recherche at CNRS, affiliated with the Archives Husserl (CNRS/ENS) in Paris.
His research interests are phenomenology (Husserl), in particular of logic and mathematics; Brouwer, Gödel, Kant, Leibniz. He studied artificial intelligence and then philosophy at Utrecht University, earning his PhD in 1999 with a dissertation titled 'Phenomenology of choice sequences' (supervised by Dirk van Dalen, Charles Parsons, and Richard Tieszen).
Before coming to Paris, he was a postdoc at Utrecht and Leuven.
